Description
This alert message is valid from 6:00am, Thursday 17th March, 2022 and will be terminated at 6:00pm on Friday 18th March, 2022 or sooner if conditions warrant.
A small-craft advisory is issued when sustained winds of 20 to 25 knots and/or sea swells of 2.5 to 3.0m (8 to 10 feet) are affecting the marine area within the next 26 hours.

Strong winds associated with the Atlantic High-Pressure System continue to agitate the seas mainly along the northern and eastern coasts of the island and will continue throughout tomorrow, Friday 18th March, 2022.
Swell heights will fluctuate slightly during this period, however, seas are expected to be moderate to rough in open water with swells reaching maximum heights of 3.0m (10 feet) during the adviosry period.

All marine craft operators and beachgoers should note the following possibilities along the coast and near shore of this zone, due to the imminent or already occurring marine threat:-
-Large open water swells can be hazardous to some vessels.
-Operation of smaller vessels can be difficult at times due to large swells.
